Our guest this episode is the legendary Nick Means. Nicolas Means was born in Thomasville, NC and graduated from Thomasville High School where he played football,basketball and baseball. He earned a football scholarship to Catawba College where he played from 1999-2002 and graduated Cum Laude in 2003. Nick, as he is referred to by most, was inducted into the Catawba Sports Hall of Fame in April of 2014 and is currently ranked #1 is career yards and #2 in career catches and touchdowns. He works for F&M Bank where he is an Assistant Vice President and Training and Development Officer. Nick also is an assistant basketball and football coach at North Rowan High School. Nick serves on a number of boards for Non Profit organizations in Rowan County. He is the Chairman of the Rowan County Leadership Rowan Steering Committee, Treasurer for the Blanche and Julian Robertson Foundation, serves on the Catawba College Board of Visitors and is a founding member of CBAN, the Catawba Black Alumni Network. Nick lives in Salisbury and has 2 kids William Reese and Kristina Means. Nick talks with us today about many trials and victories of life spanning from his legendary football journey, illustrious banking career, and humble community involvement.
